Eric Namesnik Grand Prix - Men’s 200 Breast Prelims

Erik Vendt clocked a 2:27.14 in the final heat of the men’s 200 breast prelims to finish 3rd. He will race in the ‘B’ final tomorrow, as the 3rd seed. Athens Bulldogs swimmer Neil Versfeld bested the rest of the field en route to the evening’s top time of 2:17.93. Rob Holderness (2:24.16) scored the second seed for finals, ahead of Florida’s Clark Burckle (2:24.56).

Michael Phelps did not swim the event.
