2008 Ohio State Grand Prix - Men’s 100 Free Prelims

Auburn’s Cesar Cielo clocked an impressive 48.64 in the 100 Free to lead all qualifiers. Cielo is joined in the ‘A’ final by teammates Alexei Puninski (49.94) and Fred Bousquet (50.34) who qualified 2nd and 4th, respectively. Club Wolverine will have 2 swimmers in the Championship final, led by Michael Phelps’ 50.0 (3rd). Peter Vanderkaay qualified 5th with a 50.52 swim.
