Olympic Trials - Men’s 400 Free Final
The men’s 400 Free final brought even more excitement to the Qwest Center as Larsen Jensen won with a new American Record of 3:43.53. The previous American Record holder, Peter Vanderkaay, raced Jensen to the finish, but was out touched as he hit in 3:43.73. His time was also faster than his previous record. Touching third was Erik Vendt in 4:43.92, who challenged the 2 leaders with a late charge in the final 50 meters.
