Olympic Trials – Men’s 400 IM Finals

The first 2 swimmers punching their tickets to Beijing are Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte as they finished 1-2 in the 400 IM final. Phelps bettered his own global standard with a 4:05.25 effort, Lochte’s 4:06.08 was also the old standard.

The atmosphere in the Qwest Center was electric as the two stars were cheered to the wall. What a way to start the night!
