Written by: Suz - Posted in: News

American Record holder Katie Hoff and Elizabeth Beisel put together 2 very impressive performances in the 400 IM. In back-to-back heats, both improved upon the Olympic Trials Meet Record. Beisel’s time, which was
under world record pace at several points in her race, was 4:35.75. Then, in the very next heat Hoff recorded an even more swift time of 4:34.59. Julia Smit’s 4:37.19 and Caitlin Leverenz’s 4:38.96 comprise the sub-4:40
club. Joining those 4 this evening for the final are Ariana Kukors (4:40.36), Alicia Aemisegger (4:42.92), and Kathleen Hersey (4:43.20).
