Olympic Trials - Men’s 100 Back Semifinals

Randall Bal posted the world’s fastest 100 Back time this year with his Olympic Trials meet record of 53.09. World Record holder Aaron Peirsol also secured his spot with a 53.26 win in the 1st semifinal, ahead of Matt Grevers‘ 53.32. Ryan Lochte hit in 53.37 with Nick Thoman and David Plummer posting identical 53.83 efforts. Ben Hesen (53.87) and Patrick Schirk (54.16) will occupy lanes 1 and 8 in tomorrow’s final.
