Olympic Trials - Men’s 200 Free Semifinals

If you wanted to advance to the final for the men’s 200 freestyle you need to break 1:47 in order to do so.

Ryan Lochte led all semifinalists with the world’s fastest time this year: 1:45.61. Michael Phelps won the second semifinal in 1:45.64, just ahead of teammate Peter Vanderkaay’s 1:46.08. Dave Walters also qualified for finals with a 1:46.65 finish.

Ricky Berens (1:46.77), Klete Keller (1:46.78), Danny Beal (1:46.89), and Erik Vendt (1:46.94) complete the finalist list.

Additionaally, Chris DeJong posted a 1:47.94 and will serve as the 2nd alternate.
