Olympic Trials - Women’s 100 Back Semifinals

After dazzling the crowd this morning with separate World Record swims, Hayley McGregory and Natalie Coughlin backed off a little to lead all qualifiers into tomorrow’s finals. Hayley won her semi in 59.48 and Natalie hers in 59.71.

200 Back specialist Margaret Hoelzer qualified 3rd in 59.79, followed by Lauren Rogers’ 1:00.76. Elizabeth Beisel (1:00.87), Presley Bard (1:00.92), Katie Riefenstahl (1:01.12) and Leila Vaziri (1:01.40) round out the championship field for tomorrow.
